Typically on a day to day basis, i review and receive different models on tekla, editing and modelling drawings before they are issued. Assembling and creating different parts and checked before submitted.

my role as a apprentice fabricator/ welder includes reading drawing, making brackets and plates. marking out, gas cutting and a small amount of welding.

My role consists of making what is required on the drawing as well as occasionally welding joints up to 8mm. when I am not doing these jobs I am maintaining good housekeeping and helping with workshop maintenance such as making shadow-boards.

Completing given tasks given to me by my foreman, this includes completing jobs in the workshop such as, plating, welding and workshop housekeeping.

On a day to day basis I carry out maintenance procedures such as machine checks, general maintenance, repairs and fault finding. I do this according to a safe plan that allows me to do these tasks in a safe manor that the company has put in place.

Carrying out scheduled maintenance, repairs, breakdowns and installation work. These tasks are carried out under struck health and safety format supervision that allows me to work safely and confidently at my work place.
