I am an apprentice Fabricator/ Welder working on specialist steel pieces that when you put them together will eventually make a building.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy the programme as throughout the week I do a variety of jobs meaning that i remain interested.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes, I have learnt a very large variety of skills varying from reading a structural engineering drawing to welding a large scale events.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

It is well organised as I slowly work from the easier jobs to working on the harder jobs throughout my apprenticeship as my skills progress.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive any support that I ask for.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

We get average support relating to our qualifications, however due to Covid-19 that is why.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

We learn a magnitude of skills at college relating to our full job, from analysing drawings to learning different welding techniques.
