Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

On a day to day basis I carry out maintenance procedures such as machine checks, general maintenance, repairs and fault finding. I do this according to a safe plan that allows me to do these tasks in a safe manor that the company has put in place.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

During my time on this apprenticeship scheme I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at William hare. It has given me very educational opportunities and training that has allowed me to progress as an engineer. It has allowed me to experience working on advanced machinery that has improved my skills

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have developed many skills during my apprenticeship that I have carried into my day to day life, such as, time management, commitment and patience. These skills have helped me progress through my apprenticeship and I am continually improving these skills throughout my time as an apprentice

How well organised/structured is your programme?

The programme has been very organised and informative throughout as the structure that is put in place has been straightforward. This has made it easier to gain skills in the working environment and to gain the appropriate qualifications I need to progress through my career
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I have received a large amount of support from my employer when needed that has made my experience as an apprentice far more informative. My employer has answered any queries or concerns I may have had and has continually supported me during my apprenticeship
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I have received large amounts of support from my training provider that has put me on the right path when working towards my qualification
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

The qualifications I have gained has helped me perform better in my role as I have carried me knowledge I have learnt from college and have implemented it into my role at William hare

William hare has organised a sponsored Walk that members of the company could participate in for a chosen charity, this showed me that William hare is willing to support the community

I would recommend William Hare to a friend because they offer you training opportunities that will help you gain qualifications and skills to assist you in progressing in your career. Also the safe working practices that are put in place allow us to work confidently knowing we are safe

The advice I would give to someone applying to William Hare is to trust the procedures they have in place and to accept the frequent training opportunities they offer you as they constantly push you to achieve higher
