I work with thin metal with the thickest being 5mm. We make things like venting, tables and cabinets out of aluminium or steels.

2 days on placement one day in college. Days on placement include setting up extraction and confined spaces and testing the areas

My role is to set up extraction tubes, test tanks for gases and issue permits out for work in confined spaces.

I mark and cut metal then shape it into whatever the job is.
