lots of opportunities but could have more company sports teams in football and other sports for people to get involved with

Why?
good overall experience, whilst local area is lacking there is a good time to be found in nearby areas such as the lakes or nearby city's for nightlife, the job is a great learning opportunity with all teams willing to get you involved and show you what they do. plenty of support within the company for your degree and understanding that you have to sometimes prioritise the degree work.
