We're working with NatWest to deliver a 12-day bootcamp targeting young people from underrepresented backgrounds to give them the best chance of securing an apprenticeship role with NatWest. Successfully completing the bootcamp guarantees an interview with NatWest.

What will you be doing as an apprentice?

If you love problem-solving and have a creative streak, this is a great opportunity to learn how to build the software and apps that power modern banking.

On the Software Developer apprenticeship, you'll:

  • Develop secure and reliable software features.
  • Maintain and improve back-end and front-end systems.
  • Work in agile teams to meet sprint goals and business needs.
  • Collaborate across departments to deliver robust applications.
  • Identify improvements and enhance application performance.

Who can apply?

We're looking for young people aged 16–24 who are driven to build a quality career. No prior experience is needed, just a passion for learning and making an impact.

To be eligible, you must:

  • Have attended a non-fee-paying school
  • Have received free school meals and/or required additional support to access career opportunities
  • Have 5 GCSEs (Grade 9-4 / A*-C) including English & Maths
  • Have an A-Level (or equivalent) in a STEM or related field
