About LTSB

We’re a social mobility charity on a mission to empower young people aged 16-24 from underrepresented backgrounds, helping you build the confidence, skills, and networks to launch a meaningful career.

How it works?

You’ll join a short programme designed to get you ready for the workplace. You’ll build confidence, develop practical skills, and take part in activities that push you to grow. Along the way, you’ll meet professionals, learn what employers are really looking for, and develop valuable connections. When you finish, you’ll be guaranteed an interview with one of our employment partners, giving you a real chance to kick-start your career.

Who can apply?

We work in communities where potential often struggles to find opportunity. You can apply if you:

  • Are aged 16 – 24 years old (18-24 years old for some programmes)
  • Are / have been eligible for Free School Meals
  • Attended a State school

Check out each programme page for specific eligibility requirements, as they can vary.

Our Employers

We’re partnered with major UK companies who offer not just a job, but a chance to start a career. We work closely with our employers before and during your first year of work, giving you the best chance of success. Check out our website to see some of the employers we work with.

We only work with employers who pay at least the National Living Wage.
