My role involves stripping cars as instructed/as necessary as I progress, repairing damaged cars and preparing them for paint, as well as painting them and rectifying any defects within the paint.

Very hands-on, practical. You gain lots of experience and knowledge. When you're with the right people, you have a blast every day.

As it is multiskill my day can include paint MET or panel sometimes you can get all three tasks in one day or you can be in just 1 area for the day

Very helpful when it comes to learning how to do the job, with college and everything in the job with mentors and tutors. The job keeps you really busy with life and gets you closer to your goals

The Role varies Day to day being a multi skill role. 1 day may be in paint shop next day MET area or Panel. Some days could be all 3 areas in 1 day. Depends whats needed of you.

I take part In the whole process of bringing in a car, carrying out tasks such as diagnostic checks, wheel alignment, strip and rebuild, repair, prep, paint and polish a car that has come in for accident repair work.

Repairing cars in 3 sectors, mechanical, body/panel and paint work

Strip/refit of vehicles, panel work on vehicles and prep/paint

Im a multi skilled technician this involves paint, met and panel beating.

Carry out vehicle damage assessments

learning and helping out in the workshop following health and safety making sure work areas are always tidy learning all aspects of the trade
