Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

5/5
Everyday you do and learn something new, starting with MET it ranges from bumper repairs to stripping out doors on different car models. You progress through the appreticeship and get shown the different sectors of the workshop, and have support all around whether its from work or college.

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

5/5
I enjoy it very much, there is always something to do and learn about. There is also never a dull day when you work with such a good team.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

5/5
Before i didn't know where to begin if someone asked me to take off a bumper, but now i confidently know what to look for and how to get the job done. As well as using various new tools and working as a team.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

5/5
I know what i need to do to progress further in my apprenticeship, and have check ins regularly.

How much support do you receive from your employer?

5/5
He always checks in with me and makes sure that i'm doing okay, whether it's outside of work or not.

How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

5/5
I receive lots of feedback on the work i do at work and at college, as well as checks from my coaches and mentors.

How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

5/5
As a multiskilled apprentice i get to learn about the whole workshop and its roles, instead of a single sector.

Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

3/5
Sometimes the staff will have a small get-together but apart from that, not much.
