Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

5/5
My role involves stripping cars as instructed/as necessary as I progress, repairing damaged cars and preparing them for paint, as well as painting them and rectifying any defects within the paint.

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

5/5
I enjoy it a lot as I can get very stuck in with repairs and learning all of the different aspects.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

5/5
Yes, I have both learnt new skills, especially in panel and paint, and developed existing skills, specifically in MET.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

4/5
The programme is very well organised within gemini, however it gets let down slightly by the online learning aspect of the college.

How much support do you receive from your employer?

5/5
My employer provides a lot of support.

How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

4/5
I receive slightly less support from the training providers than I do from my employers, but I feel as though this is due to the fact that I attend college less than work, and apprentice reviews are annual.

How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

4/5
I feel as thought the training providers solidifys the knowledge put in place during work and instills the health and safety aspect.

Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

3/5
The sites in the area play a friendly game of football once a year, organised by members of staff.
