Regulatory Affairs Placement Student Review

My daily responsibilities included completing paperwork for CFS and applying for them, coordinating with global registration teams and using regulatory databases and product lifecycle management systems. I also supported the EUDAMED team and worked cross functionally.

I have been given the perfect level of responsibility, allowing me to get the most out of my placement. My manager always went above and beyond to make herself available to support me with tasks where needed. I also took on additional duties within the on-site STEM teams.

I developed my Microsoft Excel skills greatly, as well as my use of other key workplace applications such as Adobe Sign. Throughout my placement, I gained key Regulatory Affairs knowledge, as well as being encouraged by my managers to learn from coworkers in other departments and operating companies.

The support I received from my managers and coworkers was above and beyond anything I could have expected, and as a result, they have continuously shaped my learning to the highest level.

The company has a welcoming atmosphere and encourages continuous learning. Everyone I spoke to was eager to help me learn more during my time there, including people whom I communicated with virtually. There are great STEM groups and CSR initiatives to get involved with and there is a large group of placement students, apprentices and graduate scheme students onsite.

I thoroughly enjoyed my placement year, and thanks to my amazing team of managers, coworkers and fellow students/apprentices/grads, I settled in quickly and got more than I could have asked for out of my year there.
