Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

Involved with case management including compliance, reconciliations with stakeholders and internal departments, literature review, due diligence. Had a task and roles on the rota to complete daily, as well as tasks that were required to complete monthly. Also worked on project such as AI project on a weekly basis.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

Great atmosphere where I felt confident to express my thoughts and be myself to grow in the pharmaceutical company. J&J truly appreciated placement students, as much as their other employees, and strived to grow early career starters.

Overall Experience

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?

I really enjoyed my placement as I had other placement students by my side, as well as a great team to work with that made work more enjoyable. I also felt like I was able to grow and develop myself alot within this role.

To understand the credo and the work culture. To look into J&J's impact in the industry and the different medicines they provide. To not be afraid of applying even if it is not directly related to the degree you study, everyone gets a fair shot.
