In R&D as an apprentice I regularly assist in the testing and qualification of various car parts.

On my apprenticeship I have build a plethora of new skills and these vary from machining to specialist software

Good structure with a clear end-goal, Ok organisation from training provider and employer.

Good level of support, we have a designated member of the Early Careers team who schedules checkins and events

Acceptable support from training provider, chasing is needed for marking, scores and schedules.

Some subjects are applicable but many are not. The course is not tailored for a specific role so this will always be the case. Skills that are useful have been used in the workplace.
