Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

My Role is to manufacture parts using CAD and CAM, this can be for the formula 1 car or anything that the company requires (heritage or other departments).
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I really enjoy my experience within the workplace because there is a hardworking and driven environment that pushes me.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt a range of skills from operating manual and CNC lathes/milling machines to designing and programming my own products using CAD and CAM

How well organised/structured is your programme?

it is structured and I know what is expected of me, sometimes having clearer responses would be appreciated but overall I'm happy.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

we receive a good amount of support being given suitable equipment to help us with our learning.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

when in the training centre we receive a suitable amount of support, communication when not in the training centre requires improvement to help with the support.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I feel the relevant topics are helpful and do support me within in the workplace, there is some topics which i don't feel are particularly relevant but I understand it has to be done to complete the qualification.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

there are a wide range of extra curricular activates that are available such as a simulator racing league, attending Silverstone for the f1 race weekend and there is a chance of attending Goodwood festival of speed.

overall a very positive experience with just a few minor places to improve mainly with the training provider and not the company themselves.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Atlassian Williams Racing?
get as much experience as possible to build a strong CV, be confident but not over the top and ensure they make a good impression when interacting with everyone within the company.
