Working on several tasks from basic tasks such as shipping or supporting organisation of labs to supporting testing or development of products.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

Yes I was given tasks such as writing verification reports which have been used for FDA approval of products now being implanted into patients

I have developed skills in writing code and using CAD. I have improved and developed many soft skills from professional communication to initiative.

I had a supervisor who I met with on a weekly basis. Additionally colleagues were willing to support me and answer questions at any point

Company Culture

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

A really supportive company with a focus on health and well-being. We had many open conversations around DE&I as well as mental health. I have been really impressed by the culture at J&J/DePuy

Overall Experience

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?

I have really enjoyed working at J&J. I was impressed by how welcoming my car senior colleagues were and I felt like I fitted into the team well. I would love to work for the company again in the future.
