I work with the research and finance teams to provide support to the department including:
Research Grant Applications and Pre- and post-award management
Research Facilitation and REF coordination
Transactional processing including purchasing and staff expenses
Communication of finance matters within and outside the department

Programme is well structured. The university continually asks for feedback to improve courses but we are not informed to what extent feedback is implemented

Support has been excellent and I have been given the opportunity to really engage with the programme and apply concepts I have learned.

Support has been excellent from the MBA Admin team. Support on other aspects have been a little sporadic.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

It has helped me perform better in all aspects of my role and it will continue to help me in years to come. I have been promoted during my training course.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

I do not engage in any extracurricular activities at the moment due to work and study taking up most of my time, but I am planning to once study is completed

Why?
Excellent place to work and I feel fortunate to be able to complete my studies in a nurturing and supportive environment. My manager and mentor has been excellent throughout.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to University of Oxford?
Do not hesitate to apply. Apprenticeship scheme and support from the University is excellent.
