Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

My day-to-day tasks consist of answering queries in our inbox, management of our spread sheet which includes the onboarding of apprentices and managing apprentices progress. I also manage our apprentice social media accounts and our website, ensuring our apprenticeships are promoted on all platforms.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I really enjoy my programme, both my employer and my training provider are very encouraging and supportive.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes absolutely, my communication, presentation, organisational, time management and confidence have improved.

How much support do you receive from your employer?

My employer are extremely supportive to not only my studies but also developing me in my role. I couldn't ask for more.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

My training provider and consistent with checking up on my progress and how I am feeling. They are very supportive with ensuring I have all the resources i need.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

What i learn from my training provider can definitely be included in my job role. An example would be my presentational skills. We had sessions on how to correctly perform and create a presentation and i was able to use what i learned from this in my job role.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

100%. I co-run our apprenticeship network which is our social committee for apprentices. It is open for any apprentices within the University. We also have regular HR forums which is a great way to speak with more senior members of staff.
