Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

- Ownership of month-end reporting of Opex spend, Travel and Expenses spend, and Samples spend for all franchises.
- Production of the monthly P&L’s for financial reviews.
- Aiding the sales team with their use of the samples ordering system, CIGNON.
- Production of the monthly Opex Dashboard for the DePuy Synthes franchise.
- Ownership of the monthly headcount reconciliation process.
- Prepare the purchase orders for the team.
- Responsible for organizing the monthly finance extended team meeting.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

Yes, i was given a lot of responsibility, at some points i did not have a manager so i had full autonomy. However, when i needed help, it was always available.

Company Culture

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

Most people were very kind and helpful. The culture was relaxed but everyone was expected to work hard. It was hard to get a grasp of the culture as i was working from home.
