Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
3/5
Responsible for managing income into the University of Oxford. Banking, card processing, online stores and events. Also purchasing through use of credit and pre-paid cards.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
It's highly pressured and the short semesters result in intense periods of study which are challenging to integrate with a full time role. However, the content of the modules and opportunity to meet other MBA students makes it an enjoyable experience overall.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
Yes, each module of the MBA has enabled me to either extend my existing skills or apply theoretical knowledge learned on the course to work-related situations.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
3/5
It has become better organised. At the outset, a lack of information from the liaising manager and difficulties with the provider's registration processes caused the organisation of the programme to be disrupted. Subsequently, it's been reliable and communication, in general is acceptable.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
My employer is exceptionally supportive. I have a mentor with whom I meet regularly and my line manager allows my working patterns to be flexible to incorporate off the job training.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
Following the initial issues around registration, communication and support has been excellent.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
it has a significant impact. The qualification provides credence to my practical experience, enabling me to apply theory. This improves my ability to become involved in strategic management, rather than simply implementing goals without the knowledge to assess and critique them.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
Yes, numerous events.
