Register Your Interest - Project Support Placement

Primary Purpose of the Job

The key purpose of this role is to work within the Enterprise Portfolio Management Office team to support the delivery of management information relating to Portfolio projects and initiatives across VWFS.

The role will be responsible for supporting key functions like reporting, administration, information analysis and governance as required by the Enterprise Portfolio Management Office.

Main Responsibilities

  • Providing effective analysis and management information on the performance of projects and understanding the impacts on reporting requirements.
  • Ownership of the EPMO and Daptiv mailbox
  • Timesheet approvals and queries
  • PPM tool admin
  • Be proficient in multiple systems in order to extract, combine and analyse relevant data.
  • Support Quarterly Planning process with creation of communications, reporting, meeting scheduling and facilitation.
  • Support continuous improvement on our ways of working, including the use of sharepoint and power apps
  • Create quarterly analysis of our Project and Programme performance to aid improvements across our delivery and quality functions
  • Support the production of monthly reporting.
  • Analyse and investigate changes and movements in reported financial figures.
  • Data entry of information into multiple systems.
  • Responsible for data reconciliation between systems.
  • Where appropriate, provide challenge and offer alternative solutions to stakeholders to drive optimal outcomes.
  • Procedure creation and maintenance, including publication of documents on KiT and NetConsent, ensuring all relevant procedures give optimum effectiveness for all EPMO related activity.
  • Version control of documents and approving access requests on V & O drives
  • Managing the diary of key meetings/reporting calendar and team mailbox.
  • Develop sound working relationships cross functionally and companywide to improve and then maintain data quality across EPMO and the wider business.
  • Where applicable support our Project and/or Programmes of work with SteerCo documentation

Principal Contacts / Working Relationships

Working with the Enterprise Portfolio Office together with the rest of IT and engaging with the Key Stakeholders on the functional Programmes.

Education, Training and Experience

  • Studying towards a Business related degree.

  • Proactive, adaptable, willing to take on responsibility & learn.
  • A team player who is capable to work on own initiative.
  • A good eye for continuous improvements .
  • Strong MS Office skills.
  • Training & support will be provided
