Flexible work in different areas of the interior surface centre working on processes such as veneer preparation to lacquering different parts

my role includes me assembleling seats and cushions, ready for the next step in the process

working with wood and making dashboard components for the cars using presses and heavy machinery day to day

I work as part of a team on the production line, and do placements in other departments to understand others areas of my home department.

It is very different based on where you are in the company. Different placements pose different opportunities.

Every day I do an array of different things depending on where I am placed, at the moment I am in leather shop and I have done leather cutting, hide marking, and seat build.

as an interior surface centre apprentice, I move around the whole department to get to know every stage of the wood shop process alongside college courses in furniture making and lean manufacturing for the first year

I am a Sewing Apprentice at Rolls - Royce Motor Cars, however I have been recently completing different placements within the production area. This consists of Seat Build (Front and Rears) Cutting and Sewing Prep.

i am a sewing apprentice day to day i am assisting with production over seeing the roles of people in production. i am also learning various job sticks and developing my skills.

I go to many places in the interior surface trim and spend time in every step of the process.

Working in TLC I am responsible to complete my Placements, achieve 3 jobsticks, and taking on all opportunities.

Cover the leather onto the carrier parts that go into the interior of the car we make 14 cars a day and we work from 6:00 until 2:30 so the hours are really good a permanent early.
