Customer service desk, handling complaints, putting up point of sale displays and ladling

Electrical installation and repair work. We also do mechanical repair work on loading bay equipment

Running F&F department and managing staff. Also looking after non food areas aswell.

As a checkout assistant, my duty is to assist customers in operating the till and barcode scanners. Hand payments with different methods. cards, cash, coupons, credit cards, loyalty cards and vouchers. Monitor the machines, and stocking shelves.

Customer based

Working in retail is tough with few resources given and the patience in which management gives to meet KPIs is even smaller.

in my day to day roll, I get to learn and use a ride variant of skills as we work on different items within the business this helps me to develop a large number of skills and many of them are transferable between different items of equipment

I worked on BWS which meant I would take the cages out of stock drag them onto shop floor unbox the box’s and then tag the alcohol if needed and put them on the shelf

Doing reduction routines

Day to day i shadow an electrician who trains me to pass the relative college modules, i get support from my manager whenever i need it and the apprenticeship team are incredible.
