Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

Work on bids for IBM, aiming to win them. Daily tasks include a variety such as: creating and managing bid trackers, managing the teams tasks in order of priority, working with legal, risk and pricing to ensure tasks within are completed before the deadline.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

Yes, a huge amount of responsibilty. I really felt like it was my full time job. I got the whole real experience of working at IBM.

How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?

Lots of support and guidance, whenever I had an issue, I had many people to go to including my immediate manager. Everyone is super helpful.

Company Culture

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

Company culture was fantastic, really friendly and comfortable atmosphere, where as an intern I did not feel lesser than those superior to me, I was comfortable enough to have a full conversation and reach out to them.
