Global Advisory Spring week Review

The insight was a 4 week global advisory spring week, in which students had the possibility to attend panels from Rothschild bankers, ask questions, attend work shadowing lessons and network with employees. Students were also given the task to carry out a group project regarding 2 companies m&A opportunities.

It was truly insightful to gain further insights on the role present within an investment bank, together with the roles that differentiate Rothschild from other financial institutions. I had the possibility to understand actually what junior and senior bankers do on a. day-to-day basis.

I certainly learned greater insights on how a bank like Rothschild works and how the day of an analyst is generally structured. I further developed my communicative and analytical skills while carrying out the group project and was able to enhance my networking abilities which are essential in the work of finance.

I have encountered one of the best culture I have seen in a bank at Rothschild. During the panels, students could really tell the passions that the bankers had for their jobs and analyst were always available to help us and answer our questions were needed. For Rothschild people are at the core of the business and the insight week truly depicted such reality of trust and cooperation.

I truly enjoyed the insight week as it was an opportunity to not only learn more about Rothschild but also myself and my colleagues. I would recommend it to anyone!
