Overview of Experience

Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.

Day-to-day tasks involved attending presentations which introduced the different divisions of the bank as well as networking with the other interns as well as the professionals. The hands-on aspect of the internship was the final presentation whereby we presented on a potential merger/acquisition.

What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?

It was extremely insightful as we were introduced to not only their global advisory devision but also their mid-market team; Arrowpoint Advisory. We were also lucky enough to learn about their Wealth Management and Merchant Banking divisions and the possibilities of roles within those teams.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

The company culture was one of the things which really attracted me to Rothschild initially. Everyone is extremely welcoming and it is evident that team work is at the core of the company's principles.
