Overview of Experience

Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.

The insight gave us an introduction to the bank and different bank areas and taught us some technical aspects of investment banking. There were different activities on a day-to-day basis including presentations, training, work shadowing, group work and panels.

What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?

There was a session for each area of the bank which was helpful in understanding the potential roles available and how they are all interconnected to some extent. We were also able to ask lots of questions.

Yes, the financial edge training session was very helpful in developing my technical skills.
I also learnt how to create a pitch deck and learnt some banking jargon.

The company culture and atmosphere was very friendly and not too serious which was great as a spring intern.

Overall Experience

To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

I really enjoyed the insight. I learnt alot and the cohort of girls were all supportive and lovely. The team were very helpful and the workers were also always happy to help and talk.
