Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

A very customer service facing role, Helping customers understand the process for each appointment and information to help guide what they are purchasing. Assisting the opticians in getting results for the patients before and after their appointment.

5/5
I enjoy being with Specsavers, the incentives and the team is very helpful.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

5/5
More confidence in the topic that I am speaking about, having that backup from team members has really helped me progress. Updating maths and English skills throughout as they are constantly being used.

I have planned admin time to reflect on my learning and apprenticeship coaches to help me along the way with meetings and are more than happy to answer any questions I have.

5/5
A lot of support, we have regular 1-1 meetings to ensure I am making progress in the store or to help reflect on anything I can make work on.

How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

5/5
All the support, teaching me what to expect and how to work around things if something is difficult.

How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

5/5
Teaching me along the way has helped to maintain and progress my knowledge when helping customers so I can work to be better for customers and my own understanding of what I am talking about.

Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

5/5
We all have our own work friends outside of work and meet up regularly, we have in work incentives and interactive competitions that keep us all connected and have good teamwork building.
