Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

4/5
I make spectacles on a day to day basis for 4 different specsavers stores. We get a delivery daily and can usuall make from anywhere from 50-300 spectacles a day.

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

4/5
I enjoy it a lot, and i feel like everyone is nice to work with and the apprenticeship itself is also quite enjoyable.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

5/5
I have learnt many different skills, such as making different types of spectacles and the steps in making a pair of glasses.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

5/5
Everything is organised and set out clearly for you. How much time you have for off the job training, and also what your day would look like.

How much support do you receive from your employer?

4/5
I recieve support whenever I need without judgement and i feel like there is a lot of support available to everyone who needs it.

How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

4/5
Same thing, support is always there and we are reminded that it is there for us if we ever need it.

How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

5/5
My qualification allows me to better understand many parts of my job role, and also explains some things which i may not have understood whilst working.

Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

3/5
