Overall, how would you describe your experience at Lockton?
An amazing experience at Lockton so far. As my first role after university, I’ve had the opportunity to immerse myself in the company’s culture, gain exposure to a diverse range of clients, and develop a strong understanding of the different lines of business.
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
One of the main benefits of the graduate scheme is the opportunity to experience different areas of the business and gain a broad understanding of how Lockton operates. So far, I’ve had the opportunity to work with a range of global clients, visit Lloyd’s of London and meet with insurers, which has given me a great insight into the insurance market and the different aspects of the broking process.
As a graduate, you’re encouraged to get involved in a wide range of activities, both within your area of the business and across the wider company. This has allowed me to take on responsibility, build my knowledge and gain exposure to different parts of the business.
