Overall, how would you describe your experience at National Energy System Operator (NESO)?

Incredible - they invest a lot into their early careers. I have been on an external secondment at EnergyUK in London and NESO have covered travel, hotel and food expense. They make sure everyone has equal opportunities and helps support their staff to be the best version of themselves.

What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?

Commercial analyst - stakeholder management is what I enjoy most but there is plenty more technical aspects to the role working with data to improve processes.
