Summer Intern Review

Coordination of live projects, building presentation decks and simple analytical and numerical work. Updating long-standing documents with more recent information, and ad-hoc tasks which can be done here and there.
On a day-to-day, this involved working in Microsoft PowerPoint a lot of the time, in addition to Microsoft Excel. Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Teams were also used generally for both internal and external communication. The role also involved lots of research, and thus using the resources we had at our disposal accordingly.

Yes, lots of responsibility, with the amount increasing throughout the internship as we proved ourselves.

Definitely improved communication, time management, along with the more technical financial skills. There were regular training sessions which were very helpful, and I feel a lot more prepared for life in a corporate job as a result of my internship.

Two buddies available for support upon request. Two team leaders and a staffer who were all very friendly and available for support too. Everyone was happy to give guidance, where possible on their end. There were two formal feedback sessions, one midway through the internship, and one at the end of the internship.

Friendly, everyone is happy to help where it is possible for them. It really feels like everyone wants you to learn whilst you are at the company, and they are all really nice people. Very positive experience.

I really enjoyed it, I feel like I have learnt a lot throughout my internship, and have really enjoyed the responsibility which I have been given. I was lucky with the projects/tasks I was given, in the sense that they were particularly interesting, so much to the extent that I am a bit disappointed not to be able to continue!
