Overview of the Role

Overall, how would you describe your experience at IBM?

My experience at IBM has been amazing. I have been able to contribute to high value work and learn lots from senior engineers

What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?

The main responsibilities of my role as an AI Engineer involve designing, building, and deploying AI-powered solutions that address real business challenges. This includes working with clients and cross-functional teams to understand requirements, developing prototypes and minimum viable products (MVPs), analysing and preparing data, integrating AI technologies into existing workflows, and continuously testing and refining solutions based on feedback.

Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend IBM to a friend?

Yes

Why?

I would recommend IBM to a friend because it offers incredible opportunities to learn, work on cutting-edge technologies, collaborate with talented people, and make a meaningful impact through both client work and community initiatives.

How well did the role match your expectations based on the recruitment process?

5/5

When considering the recruitment & onboarding process, have you any specific tips or advice you would give to others applying to IBM?

My biggest piece of advice would be to be yourself and focus on demonstrating your curiosity, willingness to learn, and problem-solving mindset rather than trying to have all the answers. IBM values people who are eager to grow, collaborate, and make an impact. During onboarding, I'd recommend taking advantage of the vast learning resources available, building your network early, and being proactive in reaching out to mentors and colleagues. The more you engage with the opportunities around you, the more you'll get out of the experience.
