Work Experience Attendee Review

The programme combined presentations, panel discussions, networking sessions and interactive activities to provide an overview of several areas within Rothschild & Co. Across the three days, we explored Global Advisory, Wealth Management, Global Market Solutions, Redburn and Five Arrows, while also working in teams to develop a product idea that we presented to analysts and associates on the final day.

I found it extremely valuable because it provided exposure to a wide range of business areas rather than focusing on a single division. Speaking directly with analysts and summer interns gave me a much better understanding of what different roles involve on a day-to-day basis.

The experience helped me develop my presentation and communication skills through the final group project, where we worked together to develop and present a product idea to analysts and associates. I also became much more confident presenting in a professional environment.
The Five Arrows trading simulation also strengthened my analytical thinking by encouraging me to consider the relationship between return and volatility across different asset classes and investment strategies.

It was very welcoming and supportive. Everyone was friendly and approachable, which made it easy to ask questions and participate in discussions.
