Work experience Review

I spent three days at the Rothschild and Co London office with 28 other young women where we were able to hear from a variety of industry professionals from different departments within the firm, participate in interactive sessions and complete a group project.

It was fantastic hearing from a variety of different sectors and what their role involved. Being able to ask questions and understanding more about what the job entailed, their career trajectory and advice was so helpful.

I have improved my networking and presentation skills particularly and we had a session discussing CVs and applications which was very helpful.

Everyone at the firm was so approachable and very happy to engage with us and answer our questions in detail. The company’s culture emphasised welcoming curiosity and altogether seemed very positive and supportive. It was lovely to meet and work with other like minded, driven young women and the overall atmosphere of the experience was incredibly enjoyable.

I had a fantastic time on the insight experience, I learned so much more about Rothschild and co, its departments, what differentiates it from other firms and its driving ethos. I loved hearing about the different roles and skills that are involved at the firm and taking part in interactive sessions and producing a project result at the end of the programme made it an incredibly enjoyable experience.
