Communications Sector Leadership Support Intern Review

My role was I supported the team by preparing marketing content, proposal materials, and campaign activities while learning how a professional environment operates. I contributed to proposals and RFP responses by creating supporting slides, organising inputs from different teams, formatting documents, and understanding the structure and purpose of proposals. I also assisted with marketing and campaign work by helping to create materials, updating trackers, gathering relevant content, and sharing creative ideas. For meetings, I prepared briefing notes, helped set agendas, took structured minutes, and followed up on action items. I kept shared folders and trackers organised, supported planning for cluster initiatives, and coordinated with team members in a professional manner. Throughout the internship, I made an effort to ask questions, understand the context behind tasks, and develop my skills in communication, organisation, and teamwork, becoming more confident and independent over time.

Yes, I was given a good amount of responsibility during my internship.
