Consulting intern - Healthcare and Lifesciences Review

My role has changed throughout my placement, but it can be broken down:
AI bid/procurement support - as a consulting intern you are looking for ways to optimise efficiency and processes to help the team. This is often using client documentation and training an AI on it which team members can use to boost their efficiency.
Marketing - expanding the presence of healthcare and lifesciences, internally and externally.
Client events - client events are a large part of your role. You will support pre-event, during the event and after, but mainly logistics
Project management - I have been a project manager for important client matters, such as a demonstration as to what IBM can offer the client.
General one off support, such as testing processes to see what may be better

I'd say a fair amount at times, and it can be intense but always manageable if you apply yourself. Something expected at a company like IBM.

Coming from 6 form and into a role like this has taught communication , adaptability, working under pressure, time management and many more.
It has developed my existing skills such as teamwork and coordination.

Lots. The foundation team are super supportive and help manage you really well.

The best. I could not ask for a better culture. Having worked a previous job where the culture and atmosphere was not good, this was a really good job.
You may think a corporate job is people on their desks not talking but it's the complete opposite. People are super friendly and always willing to help.

I really enjoy it and am continuing to enjoy it.
