Delivery manager for an AI implementation in the public sector. This involves making sure that we:
- Stick to delivery timelines
- Meet our contractual obligations
- Accurately report updates to the client

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I really enjoy the apprenticeship programme at IBM. I am able to gain first-hand experience into what it's like working in a fast-paced environment, progressing in my career whilst also gaining a degree in a relevant field!

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt many new skills since being here, some of which include:
- Time management (juggling day-to-day tasks, sticking to delivery timelines)
- Conversational skills (engaging with senior stakeholders & clients)
- AI development (building custom AI assistants and agents)

Very well, designated time for study & day-to-day work.

My employers are very supportive and understanding of the fact that I have to designate time to university study.

Lots, we have regular check ins, and dedicated support teams available for if we ever need it!

100% - I am following an IT Consultant specialism in my degree, which is exactly what I am doing at IBM.

Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

We often do team socials, wider company socials and apprentice socials. There are designated communities for certain sporting events. There are also regular networking events and hackathons to take part in!
