As a qualified Mechanical & Electrical Maintenance Technician, I play a key role in ensuring the reliable operation of assets across Water Recycling sites. My work spans wet wells, pipes, valves, pumps, and control systems, supporting the efficient running of sewage and vacuum pumping stations, water recycling plants, and sludge treatment centres. By combining proactive maintenance with skilled fault diagnosis and repair, I help safeguard service continuity and contribute to sustainable water management.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I have great satisfaction from my job role and love the variety of roles that comes with the role. A job outside being proactive gives me attitude to achieving something new all the time

both mechanical and electrical skills have been developed throughout my apprenticeship and have given me the confidence to complete job on my own and within a team

the structure of the course could be more tailored to more specific tasks we complete within the work place. There is plenty of support from managers and easily carrer staff along the way
