Going to customer appointments and giving advice and guidance on water issues such as leaks, high bills, pressure and flow checks, water quality tests.
Surveying jobs on the network such as burst mains.
Investigating possible leaks and finding out the route cause.
Operating valves and other assets on the network to optimize the network.

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

Excellent apprenticeship program with lots of great opportunities and many ways to future progress in your chosen career or develop elsewhere within the business. Very inclusive and amazing support from the early careers team and my team I work with day to day. The apprenticeship program is clear with a set and structured path to succeed. I highly recommend it.

I joined the apprenticeship with no prior expensive within this field. I have developed lots of new skills and a much greater understanding of my job role and the business itself. It has been very rewarding and enjoyable.
