My role as an IT Consultant focuses on supporting clients in identifying, assessing, and improving their technology systems and security. On a day-to-day basis, I am involved in analysing client environments, managing team issues, and identifying risks across networks, applications, and infrastructure.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I really enjoy my programme, as it provides a strong balance between practical, real-world experience and academic learning. Being able to apply what I learn in my studies directly to my role as an IT Consultant has been particularly valuable, as it reinforces my understanding and helps me develop both technically and professionally.

I receive a good level of support from my training provider while working towards my qualifications. They provide clear guidance on assignments, expectations, and deadlines, which helps me stay organised and focused throughout the programme.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

It has helped me build a stronger theoretical foundation, which allows me to better understand the reasoning behind the tasks I perform, such as vulnerability assessments and analysing security risks. This has improved both the quality and confidence of my work.
