Testing a critical public sector system. Creating tests, executing tests, raising defects.

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I really enjoyed my apprenticeship. I am on a great project with a great team that organised regular socials (such as after work football). I have also had the oppertunity to travel to client site around the world.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt a huge amount off new skills while on my apprenticeship. As well as technical skills developed, I have also developed my client facing skills and presenting skills.

The support I had from IBM was fantastic.

How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

The support I had from the training provider was good, especially when it came to getting me ready for the EPA.

I learnt everything I use in my day-to-day role from the people on my project. I personally found that the qualification through the training provider didn’t add any value.
