Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

5/5
My role varies from day to day depending on what project I am chosen to be on. As a consultant a number of different skills need to be used and so before starting the role, I am trained on the necessary day to day tasks. As an apprentice, my work also includes evidencing what I'm doing and how it related to the criteria provided to us at the start of the apprenticeship.

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

5/5
The programme is very easy going and I feel like it is the perfect balance of working and also learning, without the stress of any extra work eating into my personal time. Everything is very well explained and there are a number of resources that can be used if there is any confusion/concerns.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

5/5
I have learnt various new skills since I started this apprenticeship straight from my A-Levels. I have learnt how to use a variety of different softwares, such as Articulate Storyline, CreateSend, Microsoft Project Plan, and so much more. I have developed my presentation skills to a very high level so that I can present confidently to a client. These are just a few of the things that I have learnt over the period of 2 years and there is so much more I could talk about.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

5/5
The programme is very well organised with steps at every level. For example, when doing a write-up there is a criteria given to everyone on the programme. This is equivalent to all of the tasks on the programme.

How much support do you receive from your employer?

5/5
There is a mountain of support from everyone, whether that is the programme leads or even fellow apprenticeship students.

How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

5/5
As stated before, the training provider provides a lot of materials to help every student achieve the best they can during the course of the apprenticeship.

How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

5/5
There are many things that you learn during your qualification that you may not have seen or worked on before. This helps to build the foundational basis of the knowledge needed when working in your role. There have been countless times wherein I have used something that I have learnt in my qualification, such as, how to write something up, that has also helped me immensely in my role.

Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

4/5
There is a lot of culture and activity surrounding the programme. You can join various channels that tailor to your specific wants and hobbies. For example, there is an asian community channel that hosts events tailored to professional networking or cultural events. This is just one channel that I am a part of and there are many more.
