Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

My role at Channel 4 involved the management of advertising campaigns from an internal perspective, managing capacity and maximising revenue.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I really enjoyed the apprenticeship programme, whilst studying to gain the Level 3 Business Administration qualification it definitely developed my skills further and quicker than if I was just doing the role by itself.

I have developed virtually all of my skills, mainly communication.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

The organisation of the programme is brilliant. My tutor made sure that any assistance that I needed throughout that she gave it. Bi-weekly 1-to-1 calls were scheduled to track any progress and develop a personal development plan. When the assessments came around, I was able to schedule extra calls to run through things.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I received a lot of support from my employer. With my manager being a former apprentice, this really helped as he knew the structure of what went on and could support very well.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

As mentioned before, I recieved a lot of support whenever I needed it.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Very well, as previously mentioned, I don't believe my skills would have been as heightened if I did not complete the apprenticeship.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

I get involved with social events when they take place.

Would you recommend Channel 4 to a friend?
Yes
Why?
It is a great place to work, great workplace culture. Everyone is so welcoming and treats you like you've been there for years even after you've been there for a few weeks, making sure you never feel like an outsider.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Channel 4?
Mainly just be yourself and just go for it. With Channel 4 being a big company / big name, a lot of people get put off by that and doubt themselves.
