I work in DevOps, which involves working with tools and writing scripts to build automations and pipelines which speed up the software development process and reduce costs.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy the university content as it teaches about the business side, whereas my job role is very technical.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I've learned a lot about the DevOps culture, various tools (Git and CI/CD, Cloud providers, Terraform, Python, Bash, Containerisation and more) and processes and gained experience working in both internal and client roles.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

The university program is fairly well structured and organised, and any issues are quickly communicated.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

All of my managers have been incredibly helpful and supportive with anything I've needed help with.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Skills coaches and lecturers are very available and helpful.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

While most units aren't directly helpful, my writing and research skills have improved a lot, which has helped improve my troubleshooting skills, communication and documentation writing.
