Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Management of executive team and business support team. Regular 121s and professional conversations. HR issues. Dealing with grievances and disciplinary's. Training of new staff. Interviewing.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

It is hard work but I love my CMDA. It has aided me in gaining a promotion two levels up since I've been doing it. I've gained more confidence as a manager and I love learning things that benefit me in my new role. The CWC has really enabled me to develop as a person.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes I have benefited a great deal from the CMDA. I have been able to progress in my role, gain a promotion and been able to help others through guidance in their roles.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

Aston University is very well organised and I love going to the On Campus days.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
I am allowed a day a week to work on my apprenticeship. My line manager is also very supportive.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Aston Uni have provided a skills coach who is very useful and the tutors are very helpful with our courses.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I have improved as a manager, gained so much more confidence and gained many skills to help me in my role.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
