Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

Working closely with Analysts and acting as a full deal-team member on live projects. This involves putting up presentations for the management team of our clients, conducting market research and evaluating data and make it presentable in excel.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

Definitely, I have been given own projects that were going to senior members of the team as well as given sole responsibility for specific workstreams on live deals.

Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?

I heavily strengthened my powerpoint and excel skills, whilst developing the most important skills in the job, which are interpersonal communication skills. Furthermore I have learnt new skills regarding tools like Factset and UpSlide.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
