Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I work as a Business Support Officer for Adoption@Heart.
My duties involve Carrying out administrative tasks. Taking phone calls. Adding queries onto the relevant duty logs. Ordering goods for office equipment and events. Processing Adoption Support, Access to Records and Birth Parent support referrals. Sending email invites for those interested in attending our information event. Supporting the Keep In Touch team. Dealing with incoming and outgoing post.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy my role very much as it is a very busy role and I have gained many new skills and knowledge.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes I developed further skills with Excel (Spreadsheets). I have gained knowledge of ordering goods using my purchase card.
