Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

As an HGV apprentice, my role is to learn how to safely operate heavy goods vehicles while supporting day-to-day transport tasks. I assist with vehicle checks, help with loading and unloading, and work alongside experienced techs after doing an hours morning clean

Since starting my apprenticeship, I’ve developed a lot in both my confidence and skills. At the beginning, I relied more on guidance, but over time I’ve become more independent with tasks like vehicle checks and assisting with loading.
I’ve improved my understanding of safety procedures and transport regulations, and I’m more confident when working around vehicles and in different environments. My time management has also got better, as I’ve learned how important it is to stay organised and meet schedules.

It’s alright it can be all over the place since the college has recently been built but has been getting a lot better since everyone starting to fit in and feel good about college
