On a day to day basis I learn a range of new things such as electrical problems and components to brake components and how they work and everything inbetween
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I really enjoy my time in the HGV programme as it allows me to expand my knowledge in an exciting way

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt many new skills that helps me when I’m in the workshop. This includes skills such as using different tools aswell as developing on current English and mathematics skills

How well organised/structured is your programme?

The plan and structure of the college is good as there’s a constant flow of knowledge coming through from the tutors but also enough time to relax as to not be bombarded with facts
How much support do you receive from your employer?

The tutors will help in anyway they can if you don’t understand what’s being taught and there is alot of safeguarding and mental health aids to help too
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

A lot of the tutors at the college will give help to you and will change the way they explain things so that you can understand it
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I feel what the college teaches me makes me a better technician at work as it teaches me the correct and safe way to complete tasks

Why?
It is a great place to work and go to college as the tutors are nice and will help you any way they can, the actual college itself is a very modern and well looked after building with most of the equipment needed to learn properly
