Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Work as an intern supporting the team on internal tasks and live deals. Sit in on client meetings, complete work given by seniors in the team, communicate with clients and investors, are just some of the tasks I worked on daily.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
I was given a very large amount of responsibility. Staffed on two live deals and important work aside from that too. This led to me working on meaningful work that ends up being sent to clients, read by investors, etc.

Proficiency on powerpoint and excel has massively improved. My communication and team work skill have also been worked on and developed.

Support and Guidance
How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
Everyone around me was helpful. I was able to ask questions and freely think too. People were always able to explain something if I wanted to know. We were also assigned a buddy for the course of the internship but I ended up working more with others. The buddy was however useful if I needed anything.

Company Culture
What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Great culture. If I was overworked, staffers knew and did something about it. They really seem to care about you here. After Friday, everyone would go down to the local pub and enjoy a drink too!
